Serving Opportunities

Volunteer Serving Opportunities

At McLean Bible Church, we believe that serving is part of becoming a fully devoted follower of Christ. We encourage you to find an area of service where you can use your God-given gifts. Listed below are the serving opportunities within the Caring Ministry.

Financial Counseling - Several financial counselors are needed to give limited advice in personal finance and to help people learn to manage their money using biblically sound principles.

Membership - Volunteers are needed to assist with registration at the Membership Orientations held 3 times per year on Sundays.

If you are interested in serving in one of the areas listed above, please contact Nancy Taylor at 703-770-4397 or nancy.taylor@mcleanbible.org.

Medical Emergency Response Team (MERT) - Volunteer healthcare professionals with current CPR/AED certification and non-healthcare professionals with current CPR/AED/First Aid certification are needed to respond to medical emergencies during weekend services and at major events. We especially need volunteers for the Saturday evening, Sunday 12:30pm, and Sunday 5:30pm services. Orientation is provided.

If you are interested in serving on MERT, contact Karen Worrell at 703-770-8643 or karen.worrell@mcleanbible.org.

Visitation Team - Volunteers are needed to visit people in local hospitals, in skilled care facilities, and in their homes. Training is provided.
