Access Ministry for the Disability Community

Access History

Access began in 1996 with a Sunday school class of four children diagnosed with various disabilities who were not able to attend typical classes. Since that time, God has blessed us to be able to serve hundreds of individuals and families impacted by disabilities across the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Access has created a short video in celebration of our ten-year anniversary in 2007. To view this heartwarming sample of Access Ministry's programming, please click here.

Access currently provides the following ministry programs:

  • Accessibility Summit - A national conference for the disability community that brings together people with disabilities, Churches, and community organizations.
