We serve boys and girls, ages six through seventeen, with intellectual disabilities. Job Description: PT Lifeguard/Swim Instructor 
We are looking for energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Lifeguards/Swim Instructors to join the Jill's House team in our brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Tyson's Corner. This is a great position for a candidate looking to make a significant impact in a growing organization. Candidates may work from 11am to 5pm on Saturdays, 9am-2pm on Sundays, and some weekday afternoons.

Description of Duties:
Perform a combination of basic pool care, assisting children with disabilities in pool/water related activities and insuring a safe, nurturing environment. Under the direction of Program Manger, develop, adapt and participate in water related activities, with specific children assigned to designated time at Jill's House pool. 

Requirements: 
Lifeguarding certification required, including Professional Rescue CPR / AED and First Aid 
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of lifeguard and first-aid practices and techniques.
Ability and skill to carry out water rescues.
Pool Operators license preferred but not required.
Six (6) months experience in aquatics setting preferred. 
Experience with swim instruction, prefer experience adaptive aquatics but not required
Candidates must be loyal, dedicated, reliable, punctual, accountable, and possess a friendly attitude, excellent customer service skills and commitment to get the job done in a professional manner.
Candidates must display the maturity and patience required to work with children who have special needs.
Candidates will be subjected to fingerprinting and a background check.
