Men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and shoes are available, and anyone with a need for clothing may receive clothing. There are no economic qualifications, but a valid ID is requested.
Each adult, 16 and older, may come one time per month and fill a bag (provided) with clothes of their choosing.

What to Donate
We welcome all types of gently used clothing, coats and shoes for men, women and children. We also need new packaged underwear and athletic socks. The greatest ongoing needs are men's jeans and khakis, sizes 28 - 34, maternity clothes, and children’s jeans. During the winter, we need winter coats.
We accept household items in good condition, including bed linens, towels and dishes, utensils and cookware.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT OLD TV'S, COMPUTERS MADE BEFORE 2008, FURNITURE OR APPLIANCES.
How to Donate
Kindly follow these four steps to help make our volunteers’ jobs as easy as possible:
- All donations must be in good condition and freshly washed or dry-cleaned.
- Package items in small to medium sized trash bags so our volunteers may easily lift them. Close bags to avoid spilling.
- Donations may be placed INSIDE the cottage building, located in the church's lower-level parking garage, across from the Smith Center entrance, 24 hours a day.
- Please push the bags through the openings of the cottage. DO NOT PLACE BAGS IN THE AREA IN FRONT OF THE COTTAGE, as they may get wet and be unusable.
Receipts
Donations are tax-deductible. Receipts are located in a box on the side of the donation cottage or in the Clothing Shop when it is open. You may also visit the church office weekdays from 8 AM - 5 PM for a receipt from the receptionist.

All Volunteers are regular attendees of McLean Bible Church.
