Who We Are
Focus is a community of single adults coming together each Sunday. Some adult singles are retiring early from their careers and re-purposing their time by leading and serving, but many continue to balance work, family commitments and volunteering as they are able. As a group, we support single parents who may have exceptional financial needs, members who are in the area without family to care for them, those singles who have experienced job loss, and those singles in need of prayer.
We welcome you to join Focus as we continue to Connect with God and one another, Become like Jesus, and Impact our world through serving and sharing the Gospel.
What to Expect
Focus Community is a place we come knowing we’ll have meaningful conversations about God, the Bible, and how to live the Christian life in a culture that tells us to take whatever we want rather than leave a legacy that glorifies God. We’re a group of single adults who are also hoping to find friends to hang out with when we want to go to the movies, hiking, or out for dinner.
Each Sunday we have refreshments, time to chat with friends, a teaching session, time to discuss and consider how to apply what we're learning to our lives, and prayer. We welcome everyone, but encourage consistent attendance to help build friendships. In Focus we are also encouraged to volunteer in a variety of places in the church, serving others as a way to show God’s love and developing the gifts He’s given us.
Stay connected to Socials, Service & Outreach, and Sunday morning opportunities by signing up for Focus Evite invitations and joining the Focus Faceboook Group. Sign up HERE.
Unless otherwise noted, Focus meets from 11:00 to 12:15 pm in Rooms 1609/1610. Please use the far lobby stairwell on the second floor (opposite side from entranceway) to go down to the 1600’s. This will be the only way to access those classrooms as Kids Quest will have checkpoints at both ends of the hallway on the 1st floor. The nearest restrooms will be on the second floor in the hallway between the lobby and the café. Those with mobility issues can request an escort at any of the first floor Kid's Quest checkpoints to take you directly to our room.
