We aim to use the MBC Food & Resource Pantry to satiate spiritual hunger with the Gospel and battle physical hunger in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
Over 1,000,000 people don't know where their next meal will come from in the DMV. As the Church body, we wish to intentionally respond to this need by providing the necessary resources, thereby creating many opportunities for saved lived and rescued hearts. By establishing relationships with social workers, fire stations, police departments and many other pipelines, we are able to detect and meet the needs of the disadvantaged in our region.
What McLean on the Move?
McLean on the Move serves individuals and families who have urgent and critical needs such as food, clothing, baby supplies, and other essentials. These needs are brought to the attention of McLean on the Move through local social workers and agencies and addressed immediately. Another component of McLean on the Move is to deliver “acts of kindness” to people throughout the region. These acts of kindness can be in the form of food or clothing but also include Bibles, tracts and CD’s.
