We aim to use the MBC Food & Resource Pantry to satiate spiritual hunger with the Gospel and battle physical hunger in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
Over 1,000,000 people don't know where their next meal will come from in the DMV. As the Church body, we wish to intentionally respond to this need by providing the necessary resources, thereby creating many opportunities for saved lived and rescued hearts. By establishing relationships with social workers, fire stations, police departments and many other pipelines, we are able to detect and meet the needs of the disadvantaged in our region.
How can I get involved?
The items listed below are the ones most often utilized by various families and individuals in need.
You may drop off these items off on the second floor of the MBC Tysons campus near the Kids Quest check-in.
Bring the whole family for ServeDMV every second Saturday of the month to pack food and resources based on the communities that require them. These include but are not limited to: weekend packs for students who might not normally receive complete meals while home over the weekends, food boxes to families who just need that extra boost from a week of donated groceries, items for our homeless neighbors in Washington, D.C., and so many more!
Romans 10:15 says it best: "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" Become the hands and feet of God by delivering these resources to the communities that desperately need them - creating the prime opportunity to get to know the recipients and share the Gospel!
