MBC Maine Ave is a community of people who seek to love Jesus, one another, and the world around us.
No matter who you are or where you are from, this is a place you can connect with others, explore a relationship with God, and serve your community.
Our worship service is contemporary and energetic, yet grounded in the unchanging truths of the Gospel. Each service lasts just over an hour, and is an intimate and comfortable atmosphere that welcomes casual attire! You can feel free to just observe and take it all in or if you’re comfortable, join in as we sing, pray, and learn together.
Citywide Pastor Nate Crew and our live worship team are on site during services each week, in collaboration with the MBC Teaching Team. Typically, we live-stream (from MBC Tysons) the message delivered by a Teaching Team member. Occasionally, Nate or a guest speaker teaches. Each biblically-focused sermon offers relevant, practical applications for our daily lives.
Nathan Crew is the Pastor of Young Adults at MBC Tysons. Originally from Alabama (Roll Tide!), he moved to Lynchburg VA to attend Liberty University and graduated in 2008 with a degree in Communications. He then got married and he and his wife jumped overseas to be missionaries in the Dominican Republic for 6 months. Afterwards God led him to Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary to prepare for a life of full time ministry. He graduated with an MDIV in 2013 and has been with McLean Bible Church since June 2014. He is passionate to see the church actively participating in the cause of Christ both locally and globally. He is married to the wonderful Kristen Crew.
After growing up in Boston, Donnie came to D.C. four years ago to attend Georgetown University. He entered as a nonbeliever pursuing a career in politics or law. Since accepting Christ during his freshman year, God has led him toward vocational ministry. He became involved with MBC through Frontline Arlington and the Gathering—where he found out about the Future Leaders Program. Although he is an avid sports fan, his greatest passion is growing closer to Christ, particularly by studying His Word. Donnie is the director of The Rock Student Ministries at MBC Loudoun. He is excited to build relationships with students and, by God’s grace, to encourage them as they pursue the Lord.
