WHAT ARE “COMMUNITY GROUPS”?
At MBC Montgomery County we have some Community Groups to help you learn and grow with others in Biblical community. A Community Group is typically 10-50 people who meet regularly for the purpose of teaching, friendship, and spiritual growth. Here are the groups we currently have:
Sunday Morning Bible Study
Ongoing Bible study that meets every Sunday morning at 9 am in the adult classroom and is open to anyone to join at any time. About 40 people, led by Chuck and Jan Hollingsworth.

Women's Bible Study
Generally offers a winter, spring and fall session. Each session offers two time slots on Wednesdays- mornings at 10 am-noon and evenings at 7-8:30 pm. About 30-50 women, they meet in the adult classroom.

Ministry for moms with young kids. Meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday mornings of the month in the Rock room at 9:45-11:30am, they also meet for playdates during the school year. About 50 women attend.

Men's Bible Study
Meets every Tuesday evening at 7:30-9 pm in the conference room. It’s about 10 guys. They also host a quarterly Saturday morning breakfasts for teaching and fellowship.

Young Adults Bible Study
For college-aged, 20s and 30s. Meets every Thursday evening at 7-9pm in the adult classroom. Dinner at 7-8 pm, Bible study at 8-9 pm. Young adults also get together for brunch (off-site) after the 11 am service every third Sunday of the month.

International Bible Fellowship
Meets Friday evenings at 7:30-9:15 pm in the adult classroom. About 40 people. Fellowship and opportunity for international friends to practice English while also learning about the Bible.

The Discipleship Cohort
Meets weekly on Tuesday nights at 7-9 pm at the church. About 60 people commit to one another for 10 months for the purpose of learning and growing together. We study Scripture, theology and ministry in a cohort experience. The next Cohort kicks off in September 2018 and your application must be submitted by July 31, 2018.
