Mothering Matters - Loudoun

Making an impact one home at a time

What is a New Moms Group and a Mother Matters Small Group?

  • New Moms Groups - These groups are specifically designed to help new moms get through the initial year after having a baby. They are led by a young mom who can relate to that first year full of adjustments.
  • Neighborhood Mothering Matters Small Groups - These are groups where mothers of infants and preschoolers connect weekly to grow in friendships, faith and family life. These groups follow a curriculum rotation that includes a focused look at becoming a godly woman, wife and mother. They are led by mothers who are more seasoned than most moms in the groups.
  • Mothers of Children with Special Needs - A safe and supportive group where mothers of varying age children can connect weekly to support each other in the challenges and blessings of having a child with special needs where your faith and relationship with the Lord can also grow and develop. These groups follow a curriculum rotation that includes a focused look at becoming a godly woman, wife and mother. They are led by mothers who share the blessing of having a child with special needs.
