Volunteer with Kid's Quest

Here at MBC we believe that every Christian has a God-given ministry (Core Value #7) and with the variety of opportunities in Kid's Quest there is a place for everyone to use their God-given gifts.

There are many benefits to volunteering in Kid's Quest. You will connect with other adults, teens, and parents at McLean Bible Church. You will connect with children by being a part of their community and taking an active part in what they are learning about God. You will lead the children by example and show the importance of serving and what it means to be a member of the body of Christ.

Serve Christ with Kid's Quest Loudoun

We can all agree that the future of our world isn’t going to be an easy one for Christ followers.  Our children, as they grow up, will need to be firmly rooted in their identity in Christ to maintain their faith and have an impact on others around them.  Say yes, to adventure even if it gets a little uncomfortable.  Say yes, even when relationships get messy so we can learn to experience God's grace.  Say yes, to giving every child a place they know they belong as you disciple children at every stage of life.  Say yes, to allow God to help you re-imagine how you are using your spiritual gifts to equip the next generation.  Say yes, to a God who is bigger than you think!  Even when we think we are unqualified, too busy, too stressed or without experience, do not limit God.

The children that come into Kid's Quest are the future of the church.  In order to leave a legacy of faith to the next generation, we need more mature believers to disciple and pour Biblical truth into them from every angle.

If you have a desire to see children grow in the Lord, and to be a part of that process, Kid’s Quest is looking for a team to step in and join us this summer as our school-year team takes a break.  This is a great opportunity to get your feet wet trying out children’s ministry, or serve for a short period of time if something long-term has not worked for you in the past.  Say yes to spiritual growth!

Serving with Kid's Quest brings many benefits:

  • Building up of the body of Christ –Ephesians 4
  • Personal spiritual growth
  • Spiritual growth in your own family
  • A strong testimony to our community – John 13:35
  • Building up of a marriage if you serve together

The requirements to serve are to love and follow Jesus and be committed to serving a little over 2 hours weekly or every other week (see specifics).  Along with that, we do require an application and a background check (request one by email). Start serving by completing the Ministry Application for Adults or Ministry Application for Minors. Training will be provided for all areas of interest.
