Volunteer at The Rock Prince William
VOLUNTEER AT THE ROCK PRINCE WILLIAM
Thank you for your interest in seeking to serve our Junior and Senior High Students! We have a passion for seeing students come to know Christ and to see them grow in that relationship. We are looking for men and women who have a commitment to Christ and a desire to care for students. In 1 Thessalonians 2:8 Paul writes of the Thessalonians that he was delighted to “...not only [share] the gospel of God but our lives as well, because [they] had become so dear”. Our ministry is built on relationships between committed adult volunteers and students. Relationships enable students to feel cared for and help them to understand God's love in practical ways.
There are several ways that you can be involved as a volunteer. Please review the different service opportunities (see list below). In order to be considered for a volunteering position, we kindly ask that you follow the 5 step process below:
Fill out required Background Check HERE
Fill out the Prince William Volunteer Application HERE
Meet with Staff: Once your application and background check have been submitted, we will contact you to set up a time to talk
Visit the Ministry: After meeting with staff, we will coordinate a time for you to visit/observe the ministry and/or the areas you wish to serve in
Make A Decision: Once the above requirements have been met, and if Rock Staff and you are in agreement that this is the ministry God is leading you to serve in, you will be asked to sign a Covenant agreeing to Rock Ministry guidelines and will be considered a regular student ministry volunteer!
