The Worship and Technical Arts department is comprised of many talented people who work diligently every week to create an environment where people can draw closer to God through deep and meaningful worship. Our team supports all of MBC campuses in technical and creative ways. Together, we work side-by-side throughout the week to provide support for many of our ministries and the weekend services.
DEBUT CHRISTMAS ALBUM
Inspired to share their first Christmas EP with their church, McLean Worship will release their first Christmas EP titled Immanuel: God With Us on December 4. Immanuel: God With Us introduces McLean Worship's take on Christmas carols such as "Silent Night" and "O Come O Come Emmanuel" mixed with original songs, including "Son Of Light" and "Gloria".
Immanuel: God With Us is steeped in scriptural references from Isaiah, Genesis, Micah and more. McLean Worship’s hope is to tell of the glorious night that Christ was born and sing the gospel: the wonder-filled life that He lived and the death that brought us all eternal life. Jesus Christ was born to bring hope, peace and redemption to mankind. This season we celebrate Immanuel: God With Us.

Originally from central Ohio, Ben spent his childhood as an Air Force brat. His father’s Air Force assignments took Ben to Germany (where he was born), then to Idaho, Nevada, Spain, and Alabama. Ben and his older twin brothers, who also had careers in music, were always singing in church, since before they can even remember. Ben continued his involvement in music throughout high school and eventually went to Liberty University, where he traveled on a ministry team called “Light” that focused on Cross Cultural Ministries. With Light, Ben was able to travel to the Philippines, Hawaii, and several times to India. While at Liberty, he studied Religion, with a concentration in Youth Ministries. After graduation, Ben continued to pursue his passion for music and cross cultural ministry while traveling with World Help- based out of Forest, Virginia - where he was able to travel all over the U.S. raising money for the purpose of printing and distributing bibles as well as building churches in India. He then went to Jacksonville, FL and served as the Worship Leader at East Point Church, where he met his beautiful wife, Janie. In November of 2004 the Lord called Ben and Janie here to McLean Bible Church. Ben is passionate about leading people in corporate worship and counts it an absolute joy to celebrate the Gospel with McLean Bible church each weekend. He is an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan, and loves hiking, camping, basketball, and music. Ben and Janie have three daughters, Callie, Evie, and Aubrie.
