FAQ
Where will this event be located?
Our fall Word-Filled Women will be located on the first floor of our MBC Tysons Campus (8925 Leesburg Pike Vienna, VA 22182) in the Smith Center. You can enter through door 2B.

Will there be free parking?
Yes! We are asking everyone to park on the first floor near the Smith Center entrance.

If I am attending by myself will there be an opportunity for me to meet other ladies?
Yes! If you are attending this event solo, no worries! We are so glad to have you, and we are hosting a pre-event Meet & Greet with light refreshments so that you can meet other ladies and find some friends to sit with. You will also have an opportunity to make new friends at lunch.

What about lunch?
If you pre-register by Sunday, September 23, your registration includes your choice of the following: (1) Turkey and provolone sandwich with pesto aioli, sun-dried tomatoes, and arugula on ciabatta bread; (2) Ham and Swiss sandwich with honey Dijon on ciabatta bread; or Quinoa salad with mixed greens, Kalamata olives, feta, tomatoes, and lemon herb dressing. All meals include chips, fruit, and a bottled water. Without your pre-registration, we cannot guarantee a lunch will be available for you. If you do not pre-register, you should plan to bring your own lunch.

What if I have a specific food allergy?
If you have a food allergy, we encourage you to bring your own meal. If you need a fridge to store your lunch in, please email us so that we will be able to accommodate you.

Are there scholarships to attend Word-Filled Women?
We want to make a way for any woman who wants to attend Word-Filled Women to be able to do so. Therefore, if cost is a hindrance, please contact women@mcleanbible.org, and we will send you the short scholarship application.

What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring your Bible, something to write with, and a sweater in case you get cold. The church can often get chilly.

Will there be Spanish Translation?
Yes! Please let us know when you register if you require Spanish translation, so that we can accommodate your request.
¡Sí, amiga! Por favor, contactanos cuándo se registra si necesita una traducción al español y podemos atender su solicitud!

Will there be ASL Interpreting?
Yes! Please let us know when you register if you require ASL interpreting so that we can accommodate your request.

What if I can no longer attend the event? Can I get a refund?
You will have until Saturday, September 8, to request a refund. Unfortunately, after that date we are unable to issue refunds because we will have already ordered the necessary materials, supplies and lunches. Sorry friends, no exceptions! After September 8, if you are unable to attend, please email women@mcleanbible.org, so that we can donate your registration to a woman who has requested a scholarship.

Worshipping the Lord and growing deeper in His Word--will this event be all serious and stuffy?
No! It is our prayer that you will feel welcome and refreshed by the time we spend together growing deeper in God's Word and getting to know one another. So dress comfy, bring your Bible if you have one, and get ready to learn and grow!
