Pastor of Spiritual Formation and Training
While I'm originally a native of Washington State, I graduated from Penn State University in 2007 with a degree in Music Education. After teaching public school for a year, I moved to DC to serve on staff at MBC and have been here ever since. As a seminary student at Dallas Theological, I have an ever-increasing desire to see our people fall even more in love with the Lord through the study of His Word. I'm amazed that I have the opportunity, along with our discipleship team and many instructors, to help others grow in being disciples of Jesus through our classroom environments. I'm married to my best friend Rachel, who also serves on staff at the Arlington Campus.
Nathan Crew is the Pastor of Young Adults at MBC Tysons. Originally from Alabama (Roll Tide!), he moved to Lynchburg VA to attend Liberty University and graduated in 2008 with a degree in Communications. He then got married and he and his wife jumped overseas to be missionaries in the Dominican Republic for 6 months. Afterwards God led him to Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary to prepare for a life of full time ministry. He graduated with an MDIV in 2013 and has been with McLean Bible Church since June 2014. He is passionate to see the church actively participating in the cause of Christ both locally and globally. He is married to the wonderful Kristen Crew.

Director of Kid's Quest
Kristin Thompson is currently the Director of Kid’s Quest Tysons and has been on staff since 2004. She has filled many roles while on staff with Kid’s Quest that have helped her better understand ministry and the different age groups of children in our ministry. She has worked with children all her life and has a passion for them to experience transformational teaching and transformational relationships, so they can learn more about who God is and that He loves them. Prior to joining MBC staff she was a director of a private preschool and served in children’s ministry in North Carolina where she grew up. Kristin enjoys living in this area with her husband, doing ministry together and spending time with family who live close by!
