Alirio Arreaza
Pastor, Global Impact
I was born in Venezuela, grew up in Canada and have been living in the DC area since 2005. I graduated from the University of Maryland with degrees in both International Business and Biology, and God has moved me into ministry one faithful step at a time! After serving on staff with the Rock Student Ministries, I transitioned to our Outreach team and have led a variety of initiatives locally and globally. I met my wife Lauren, a grade school teacher at MBC and we love traveling together, eating good food, and hiking with our dog Chico. I am passionate about seeing brokenness redeemed and people reconciled as God answers seemingly impossible prayers. It is a joy to help mobilize the MBC family so that- individually and collectively- we might play our role in the Global Church well, and see God’s glory displayed among the nations.
