What to Expect at MBC Montgomery County

Worship Experience

Our worship service is contemporary and energetic, yet grounded in the ancient and unchanging truths of the Gospel. Each service lasts just over an hour, and is an intimate and comfortable atmosphere that welcomes casual attire! You can feel free to just observe and take it all in or if you’re comfortable, join in as we sing, pray, and learn together.

Message

Each sermon is based on the truths of the Bible, with practical applications to our daily lives. The sermon is usually broadcast live via satellite from where Senior Pastor Lon Solomon is speaking, and he occasionally comes to our campus to preach in person. When Pastor Lon is out of town, our Campus Pastor Mike Kelsey or another pastor preaches.

Children and Teens

Our Kid’s Quest children’s ministry serves children newborn all the way through fifth grade. Kid's Quest includes childcare in the nursery and programming for preschoolers and elementary school kids. When your children arrive at MBC Montgomery County, you can expect that they will experience an exciting, fun and safe environment led by caring adults who will help them get to know God in a real and personal way. As parents, our leaders will also equip you with ways to teach your children about God at home.

The Rock Student Ministries is our program for middle and high schoolers. At The Rock we offer Sunday services, classes and a variety of activities and events, all of which we hope will help our students become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
