What is a church group?

We want to personally invite you to get connected to one of our church groups located in the Loudoun area.  We acknowledge that joining a group is a big step, and we’d like to help you take that next step!

At MBC, groups are the primary way that we care for one another, grow together to be more like Christ, and make disciples together both locally and globally. Church Groups are designed to be representative of the entire body of Christ. Many of our Church Groups begin in different ways, meet in different places, and may look different from one another at any given time, but we are actively working to see each group represented by men and women of all ages and backgrounds, married and single, and families with and without children. That means, there is a place for you in an MBC Church Group!

how to visit a group

  • The list below shows the names of the leaders, the zip code where they are located, and what day / time they are currently meeting.

  • Click on “see details” to access a form which you can use to contact the leaders to let them know you want to visit their group.

  • The leaders will respond back to let you know things like where they are located, and what their meeting schedule involves (for example, some groups meet men/women only sometimes, and others may be doing something special that week like an off-site service project together.)

  • You can ask the leaders about childcare arrangements for the group, if they share a meal or not, what they are studying, how often they meet, etc.

  • Also, it’s ok to visit a few groups before deciding which one you want to join!

If you have any specific questions please email us at [email protected] so we can assist you.
