Who are you?

Life as a teen in Montgomery County comes with many challenges. You are not in it alone! Our youth ministry (grades 6-12) is a place for students to make friends, grow spiritually, and impact the lives of others.  We gather weekly in small and large groups to experience the good news of Jesus in real and relevant ways.

We strive to connect students with God, our leaders, and each other in an environment where we can have fun, wrestle with difficult questions through God’s Word, and be real with each other. We long for students to make a difference in their spheres of influence and to reach the nations for Jesus.

We can’t wait to meet you!

What do you do?

Weekly Gatherings:  We care for students and invest in their spiritual formation primarily through Bible study and groups.  All groups are led by RSM leaders that are committed to discipling and evangelizing the teenagers alongside of parents.  Groups meet during our weekly gatherings to discuss God’s Word and practice caring for one another.  Middle School meets Sundays at 11 am and High School meets on Wednesdays at 7 pm.  To belong to a group we encourage you to register here.

First Fridays: Every first Friday of the month we host a fun and engaging event in order for students to connect with one another and build relationships.  First Friday events are typically from 7:00-9:00pm.

Serve: We encourage students to live on mission together glorifying God through their service to the local church and their communities.  We encourage students to join an MBC Moco Sunday Serve team, partner with FCA MoCo in serving their schools or consider serving globally with MBC GO.

Partner with Parents: Our goal is to partner with parents in discipling and evangelizing the emerging generation.  We partner with parents by providing resources on parenting, connecting parents with leaders who care for their students, prayer support and pastoral care.  Contact our RSM staff for more details.

Summer and Winter Camps

At camp, students get away from all the distractions of life in the DMV and spend a few days living the life God designed for them—worshipping the Lord, studying His word, and spending time with His people. While away, students have the chance to make and build deep friendships while participating in tons of fun adventures, competitions, and activities. Year after year, we’ve seen God change students’ lives and eternities through camp.
